Bresso Airport
Beyond the Runway
2025/26The year is 2075. Robots and drones have become part of everyday life, and the former airfield has become a new civic landscape. Extending Parco Nord, the runway forms a multi-functional linear centre linking two contrasting poles. To the south, a highly automated vertiport receives, recharges and unloads drones around a public ground floor. To the north, a research centre for aerial mobility combines laboratories and a museum dedicated to the airport's history.

The physical landscape model uses dried basil and oregano to represent the vegetation of its Italian setting.
